At 7,933 square feet, MEDZS will be an anchor F&B tenant at the shopping mall’s basement 2 which is branded The Med – a haven for connoisseurs of all things Mediterranean, comprising cafes, restaurants, gelato parlours, wine and cheese specialty shops, bakeries, pizza shops, chocolatiers, delicatessens and florists.

Decked out in the rich and vibrant colours synonymous with the Mediterranean, the MEDZS offers a fresh dining concept, embracing a stirring range of the Mediterranean’s signature dishes amidst a vivacious ambience and rich aroma. The restaurant’s interior design strongly reflects elements of Mediterranean architecture including the heavy use of textured stones, mosaic and wood. This is softened by the rustic furnishings, and numerous ornamental objects quintessential to the region, including embroidered plush cushions decorated with pieces of tiny mirrors, plants in terracotta pots, pendant lamps, and lanterns that lend warmth to the overall atmosphere. Giant sculptures of staple vegetables, such as tomatoes and capsicums serve to remind diners of the healthy Mediterranean diet which is rich in plant foods.

The price points of the restaurant’s offerings are also affordable to most who enjoy a vibrant, lively yet elegant dining experience. At MEDZS, diners will be able to enjoy good food and the Mediterranean ambience in simple, pure form.

In keeping with the Mediterranean fishing season, diners can look forward to “Catch of the Season” promotions, which will include giant marlins and sword fish fresh from the bountiful Mediterranean Sea, to be used for carpaccio, sashimi, and the grill.  There will also be an international bar serving over 120 types of Mediterranean and international brands of beer, wine, as well as a Power Juice Station.

MEDZS’ self-service dining concept gives diners the flexibility to order from any of the 8 F&B stations, and to witness their meals being freshly prepared before them. All food orders will be electronically updated and consolidated on a ‘credit card’, allowing customers the convenience of paying only at the end of their meal.

Apart from lunch and dinner, MEDZS will also feature an array of afternoon tea favourites, with a Mediterranean twist of course! The restaurant will serve Turkish coffee with Turkish Delight sweets, French crepes, phyllo-based pastries and other Mediterranean sweets and savouries.
